About the City of Chino Hills

Chino Hills is a suburb located in the southwestern corner of the Inland Empire region of San Bernardino county and is easily accessed via The Chino Valley Freeway (Hwy 71). The city borders Los Angeles County on its northwest side, Orange County to its south, and Riverside County to its southeast making it centrally located to all Southern California employment centers and attractions. The city had a total population of 80,897 as of 2005.

Chino Hills is a great location to raise a family.  The city has acres of open space, dozen of parks and miles of trails for residents to enjoy.  Big League of Dreams is located in the Fairfield Ranch neighborhood of Chino Hills.  Chino Hills is also home to the Vellano Country Club, a private golf course and housing development designed by golf champion Greg Norman, Western Hills Country Club, a private golf course in Carbon Canyon and Los Serranos Country Club, a public golf course founded in 1925 in southern Chino Hills.  Chino Hills is a great destination for shopping as well as many great restaurants. The Shoppes at Chino Hills features upscale stores and restaurants, and is adjacent to the Chino Hills Government Center and Library.   The Commons at Chino Hills is another new shopping center featuring ToysRUs and Lowes with great restaurants including BJs and Lucille's Smokehouse BarBQue.   Harkins Theatres is located in the Crossroads Entertainment Center in northern Chino Hills.  This is a great destination for date night with restaurants such as Buffalo's Wild Wings and Que Pasa, Starbucks coffee and even a Hampton Inn & Suites
